From MV Medical Missions....

Sadly the audio is missing due to some copyright issue, but the original contained audio portions of the scriptures being read in Mixe, which we certainly have rights to publish online or otherwise.  At least you can see some of the work done by this last team.

This coming week Jim will be going to another Mixe village to help another ministry who is conducting a similar medical clinic.  Please keep them in your prayers.

Thanks again for praying for Diego and Luz.  I still haven't seen them, but Jim visited with them briefly yesterday.  Add them to your prayer list if you feel so inclined.  They will need ongoing prayer for safety in all their travels and village visits.

In case you are wondering how my "ring bearer" episode turned out, you can read the rest of that story on the blog I write for Women of the Harvest: IRL (in real life) with Jamie Jo.  The post was titled "My Panache - Where Did it Go?"  Unfortunately I committed a bit of a social faux pas at the wedding.  At least Jim wasn't there to be embarrassed with me.

Jim and I are both in the same place at the same time again.  After he returned from his time in the U.S. he made another quick trip down near the coast to make final arrangements for a Megavoice distribution team coming down in early March.  Now life is returning to the old norm.

Big news this week is that the town officials actually might approve the funds to pave our infamously bumpy dirt road.  They had a big pow-wow on Monday, and it looks hopeful.  Little by little our town is getting paved.  It won't seem quite the same.

Just yesterday on Facebook a friend posted this photo from South Africa that said:  "Holey Road: Please fasten seat belt and remove dentures."  (Thanks for the good laugh, Chad.)  I can relate!

When our town in Guatemala got a Burger Shop, Jim joked that civilization had caught up with us, and it was time to move on.  That's when we came here.  I sure hope the paved road doesn't cause him to get itchy feet to move again.
