Recording Studio Projects 2010

Normally we don’t overwhelm people with all the specifics, but once in a while we like our partners to see what they are helping us to accomplish.  Sometimes it’s good for us to review the list and give thanks to God, too, for the provision of funds to do this mammoth task.

With four full-time recording technicians, the following projects were initiated or completed in 2010:

Recording of the New Testament in Zapotec of Yaganiza

Old Testament stories recorded in Zapotec of Aloapam

Multi-voice New Testament recording begun in Chinantec of Ozumacin

Three multi-voice, dramatized New Testaments completed in 2010:

Nahuatl of S.E. Puebla,

Mazateco of Eloxochitlan, and

Chinanteco of Tepetotutla (this one recording alone represents five months of full-time work)

Four gospels in Mixe of Tlahuitoltepec (the area affected by the mudslides)

Acts and Luke in Zapotec of Coatecas Altas
